Connecting Cultures is currently working with UNESCO to develop a series of easy to use, downloadable resources for teachers to use in the classroom.

These resources will be discussion and activity based, focusing on defining culture and identifying the value of cultural diversity and dialogue. In an effort to tackle stereotyping, also included will be several activities to develop media literacy amongst young people. In 2009 schoolchildren will also be able to communicate on-line with the young people taking part in the Connecting Cultures desert journeys, and receive daily updates live from the desert.

We aim to have these resources on-line by the end of 2008.
